Ah, tis the season. The season of Where did the day go?-What happened to the sun it’s only 4:30!-good grief I just got a Christmas card-I would really love my shopping to be done already-who the hell broke Mother Nature’s thermostat?

It’s cold and snowy here in Colorado. Colder than it has been, but certainly a lot less snow than we got in October. I still don’t like it. In fact, I think I would like to have a winter home. In Chile. At the winery I need to invest in. Warm and wine. I could handle that methinks. I’ll run a B&B for overwhelmed moms.

So I’m running around like a headless chicken. Nothing new, I know, but I still don’t like it. More headless than usual, I suppose. This headless chicken really should go start dinner, but it’s warm here in front of the little foot heater and I’m lazy.

I’ll leave you with a quote from David Allen (via his Twitter feed yesterday). It now lives around the edge of my monitor with other little gems I like to keep literally in front of my eyes.

There is never enough time to do what you really don’t want to do. Time management is really value management.

With that, I’ll go and make dinner (don’t like to cook when I’m hungry) and then practice my flute (hate practicing when I’m cold and have a stiff neck).
